Founded

Founded by 2006 Hall of Fame inductee John Curington, the Ponte Vedra Croquet Club offers the sport of Croquet to all ages. The draw of Croquet is due to its gender-neutral, ageless and friendly competition that features a low impact exercise option for those who have a hard time twisting (Golf) or running and hard pounding stop & go (Tennis).

Croquet gently encourages and builds balance as well as laser focuses mental acuity! Skill & Strategy are only two levels that Competitive Croquet offers. There is also a vast social aspect as well. Our facility is designed to make every level of player feel at home. There are enough courts to practice on and to have individual or small group instruction without interfering with ongoing games.

The outdoor deck overlooks our three full-size courts on the North Lawn. The South Lawn boasts four three-quarter sized courts. Inside the clubhouse there are restrooms and a lounge area. Handicap ramp and restrooms are available. Our pavilion, which sits adjacent to our South Lawns, provides a rustic space that offers shade and comfortable seating.
